3D Video Projections

The holidays are just around the corner and here's a cool alternative to those strings of Christmas lights (no need to detangle those chords).

NuFormer Digital Media is a multimedia firm from the Netherlands. Their work is simply mind blowing!

All tied up

Inspired by his mother's knitting hobby, Korean designer Kwangho Lee created beautifully wildly organic light fixtures with tangled or weaved electrical cords. Each lamp is an impromptu process which makes each piece unique, and some lamps uses up to 900 meters of electrical cord.

Lee has also made furniture out of the same electrical cord.

silk cocoon lamps

I used to see these lamps all over DC. They're silk cocoons held together with wire... really delicate and spectacular. Made by Thailand based designers Ango .
